  • I love you,
    A bushel and a peck,
A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
Hug around the neck and a barrel and a heap,
Barrel and a heap and I'm talking in my sleep.
    • Song A Bushel and a Peck
  • I'd love to get you on a slow boat to China,
    All to myself, alone.
Get you and keep you in my arms evermore,
Leave all your lovers weeping on the far away shore.
    • Song On a Slow Boat to China
  • Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
    And we'll all stay free.

Praise the Lord and swing into position
Can't afford to sit around a-wishin'
Praise the Lord, we're all between perdition
    And the deep blue sea.
    • Song Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition

The Ballad of Rodger Young

  • No, they've got no time for glory in the Infantry.
No, they've got no use for praises loudly sung,
But in every soldier's heart in all the Infantry
Shines the name, shines the name of Rodger Young.
  • On the island of New Georgia in the Solomons,
Stands a simple wooden cross alone to tell
That beneath the silent coral of the Solomons,
Sleeps a man, sleeps a man remembered well.
