The film is set ten years after the Battle of Naboo, when the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of renegade Jedi Master Count Dooku, thousands of solar systems secede from the Galactic Republic. When an assassination attempt is made on Senator Padme Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, 19-year-old Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect her, while his mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi is assigned to investigate the assassination attempt. • For a mechanic, you seem to do an excessive amount of thinking.
  • Oh! Have you no sense at all? Idiot!
  • (on seeing droid factory) Oh my goodness, shut me down! Machines making machines. How perverse.
  • I wonder what happened to poor little R2? He's always getting himself into trouble you know. (his head gets whacked off by a piece of machinery) OH NO!
  • (after having his head put onto a battle droid's body) Oh, I'm so confused!
  • (As the droid his head's stuck on marches into the arena) What's all this noise? A-a battle! Oh no, there's been some terrible mistake; i'm programmed for ettique, not destruction!
  • DIE, JEDI DOGS-- Oh, what did I say?!
  • Oh, I'm terribly sorry about this!
  • (on having a super battle droid lying on him) Excuse me? I'm trapped, I can't get up.
  • (as R2 drags his head across the arena) Now where are you taking me? Oh, this is such a drag.
  • (after the battle leaves the arena) R2, I had the most perculiar dream!

Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus

  • Hundreds of Senators are under the influence of a Sith Lord called Darth Sidious.
  • You must join me, Obi-Wan, and together we will destroy the Sith!
  • Master Windu! You have fought gallantly. Worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. Now... it is finished. Surrender, and your lives will be spared.
  • Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem. Surely you can do better!
  • It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force... but by our skills with a lightsaber.
  • This is just the beginning!
  • I have good news for you, my master. The war has begun.
  • Then Im sorry my friend.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

  • Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin, they betray you. You have made a commitment to the Jedi Order, a commitment not easily broken.
  • Patience, use the Force, think!
  • Next time, try not to lose it. This weapon is your life!
  • Anakin, my long-range transmitter has been knocked out. Retransmit this message to Coruscant. [To Jedi Counsel] I have tracked the bounty hunter Jango Fett to the droid foundries in Geonosis. The Trade Federation is to take delivery of an army here, and it is clear that Viceroy Gunray is behind the assassination attempts on Senator Amidala. The Commerce Guilds and the Corporate Alliance have both pledged their armies to Count Dooku, and they are planning to build a... Wait, wait. [goes off and destroyer droid appears]
  • Attack those Federation starships. Quickly!
  • Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?
  • Good job!

Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious

  • I will not let this Republic that has stood for a thousand years be split in two!
  • It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love democracy... I love the Republic. The power you give me I will lay down when this crisis has abated. And as my first act with this new authority, I will create a Grand Army of the Republic to counter the increasing threats of the Separatists.
  • Welcome home, Lord Tyranus. You have done well.
  • [upon learning that the Clone Wars have begun] Excellent. Everything is going as planned...

Anakin Skywalker

  • Just being around her again is intoxicating.
  • Jedi business. Go back to your drinks.
  • Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as…unconditional love…is essential to a Jedi's life. So, you might say that we are encouraged to love.
  • From the moment I met you, all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm with you again…I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worse it gets. The thought of not being with you—I can't breathe. I'm haunted by the kiss that you should never have given me. My heart is beating…hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul, tormenting me…what can I do? I will do anything you ask. [pause] If you are suffering as much as I am, please, tell me.
  • I killed them. I killed them all. They're all dead. Every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women, and the children too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals! I hate them!

Mace Windu

  • If they do, you must realize there aren't enough Jedi to protect the Republic. We're keepers of the peace, not soldiers.
  • This party's over.
  • We will not be hostages to be bartered, Dooku!
  • Nevertheless, I think we should keep a closer eye on the Senate.

Master Yoda

  • The Dark Side clouds everything. Impossible to see, the future is.
  • [to Padme] But for certain, Senator, in grave danger you are.
  • Lost a planet, Master Obi-Wan has! How embarrassing! How embarrassing!

  • Powerful you have become, Dooku. The Dark Side I sense in you.
  • [to Dooku] Fought well, you have... my old Padawan.
  • Joined the Dark Side, Dooku has. Lies, deceit, creating mistrust are his ways now.
  • Victory? Victory you say? Master Obi-Wan, not victory. The shroud of the Dark Side has fallen. Begun the Clone War has!

Jango Fett

  • I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe.
  • Always a pleasure to meet a Jedi.
  • Don't move, Jedi. Take him away!
  • Pack your things, we're leaving.
  • Be careful they are very poisonous!
  • I was recruited by a man named Tyranus.

Nute Gunray

  • What about the Senator from Naboo? Is she dead yet? I am not signing your treaty until I have her head on my desk!
  • [after Padme kicks the Nexu attacking her in the arena] She can't do that! Shoot her, or something!

Opening crawl

There is unrest in the Galactic Senate. Several thousand star systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic.

This seperatist movement, led by the mysterious Count Dooku, has made it difficult for the limited number of Jedi Knights to maintain peace and order in the galaxy.

Senator Amidala, the former queen of Naboo, is returning to the Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating an ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC to assist the overwhelmed Jedi...

Dialogue

Chancellor Palpatine: I don't know how much longer I can hold off the vote, my friends. More and more star systems are joining the Separatists.
Mace Windu: If they do break away--
Chancellor Palpatine: I will not let this Republic that has stood for a thousand years be split in two! My negotiations will not fail.
Mace Windu: If they do, you must realize that there aren't enough Jedi to protect the Republic. We're keepers of the peace, not soldiers.
Chancellor Palpatine: Master Yoda, do you really think it will come to war?
Yoda: Hmmm. The Dark Side clouds everything. Impossible to see, the future is.
[Hologram shows a Rodian]
Rodian: [in Rodese] The Loyalist Committee has arrived, Your Honor.
Chancellor Palpatine: Good. Send them in. [as Padmè and the Committee enter] We will discuss this matter later.
Yoda: Senator Amidala! Your tragedy on the landing platform, terrible. Seeing you alive brings warm feeling to my heart.
Padmè Amidala: Do you have any idea who's behind this attack?
Mace Windu: Our intelligence points to disgruntled spice miners on the moons of Naboo.
Padmè Amidala: I think that Count Dooku is behind it.
Ki-Adi-Mundi: He is a political idealist, not a murderer.
Mace Windu: You know, milady, Count Dooku was once a Jedi. He couldn't assassinate anyone; it's not in his character.
Yoda: But for certain, Senator, in grave danger you are.
Chancellor Palpatine: Master Jedi, may I suggest that the Senator be placed under the protection of your graces?
Bail Organa: You really think that is a wise decision during these stressful times?
Padmè Amidala: Chancellor, if I may comment, I do not believe--
Chancellor Palpatine: The situation is that serious? Oh, but I do, Senator. I realize all too well that additional security might be disruptive for you, but... perhaps someone you're familiar with? An old friend, like... Master Kenobi?
Mace Windu: That's possible. He's just returned from a border dispute on Ansion.
Chancellor Palpatine: Do it for me, milady, please. The thought of losing you... is unbearable.
Mace Windu: I will have Obi-Wan report to you immediately.
Padmè Amidala: Thank you, Master Windu.

Zam Wesell: I hit the ship, but they used a decoy.
Jango Fett: We'll have to try something more subtle this time, Zam. My client is getting inpatient here take these (hands her a jar containing two venomous kouhuns). Be careful. They're very poisonous. Zam, there can be no mistakes this time.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: You look tired.
Anakin Skywalker: I don't sleep well anymore.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Because of your mother?
Anakin Skywalker: (nods) I don't know why I keep dreaming about her.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Dreams pass in time.
Anakin Skywalker: I'd much rather dream about Padme. Just being around her is intoxicating.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin, they betray you. You have made a commitment to the Jedi Order, a commitment not easily broken. And don't forget - she is a politician, and they are not to be trusted.
Anakin Skywalker: She's not like the others.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: What took you so long?
Anakin Skywalker: Oh, you know me, Master; I couldn't find a speeder that I really liked...
Obi-Wan Kenobi: There he is!
Anakin Skywalker: (as if Obi-Wan hadn't said a thing) With an open cockpit and the right speed capabilities...
Obi-Wan Kenobi: If you practiced your saber techniques as as much as you do your wit, you would rival Master Yoda as a swordsman.
Anakin Skywalker: I thought I already did.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Only in your mind, my very young apprentice.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: You know, I don't like it when you do that.
Anakin Skywalker: Sorry, Master. I forgot that you don't like flying.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I don't mind flying, but what you're doing is suicide!

Anakin Skywalker: If you'll excuse me, Master. [jumps off their hovering speeder]
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I hate it when he does that.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?
Anakin Skywalker: Don't say that, master. You're the closest thing I have to a father.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Then why don't you listen to me?
Anakin Skywalker: I am trying.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Do you see him?
Anakin Skywalker: I think "he" is a she. And I think she's a changeling.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Then we must be on our guard. Go and find her.
Anakin Skywalker: Where are you going, Master?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: For a drink.

Elan Sleazebaggano: Wanna buy some death sticks?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [using a Jedi Mind trick] You don't want to sell me death sticks.
Elan Sleazebaggano: I don't wanna sell you death sticks.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You want to go home and re-think your life.
Elan Sleazebaggano: I wanna go home and re-think my life... [leaves]

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Do you know who it was you were trying to kill?
Zam Wesell: It was a Senator from Naboo.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: And who hired you?
Zam Wesell: It was just a job.
Anakin Skywalker: Who hired you? Tell us. [angrily] Tell us now!
Zam Wesell: It was a bounty hunter called - [is struck in the neck by a toxic dart by Jango Fett]

Chancellor Palpatine: You don't need guidance, Anakin. In time, you will learn to trust your feelings. Then, you will be invincible. I have said it many times, you are the most gifted Jedi I have ever met.
Anakin Skywalker: Thank you, Your Excellency.
Chancellor Palpatine: I see you becoming the greatest of all the Jedi, Anakin. Even more powerful than Master Yoda.

Padme Amidala: We used to come here for school retreat. We would swim to that island every day. I love the water. We used to lie out on the sand and let the sun dry us and try to guess the names of the birds singing.
Anakin Skywalker: I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

Taun We: May I present Lama Su, Prime Minister of Kamino. And this is Master Jedi...
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Lama Su: I trust you are going to enjoy your stay. Please... (gestures to a chair, which Obi-Wan sits in) And now to business. You will be delighted to hear we are on schedule. 200,000 units are ready, with a million more well on the way.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: That is... good news.
Lama Su: Please tell your Master Sifo-Dyas that we have every confidence his order will be met on time and in full.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [confused] I'm sorry? Master-- ?
Lama Su: [clearing his throat] Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas is still a leading member of the Jedi Council, is he not?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Master Sifo-Dyas was killed, almost ten years ago.
Lama Su: [sadly] Oh... I'm so sorry to hear that. But I'm sure he would have been proud of the army we've built for him.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: ... The army?
Lama Su: Why yes. A clone army. And, I must say, one of the finest we've ever created.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Tell me, Prime Minister, when my Master first contacted you about the army, did he say who it was for?
Lama Su: Of course he did. This army is for the Republic. But you must be anxious to inspect the units for yourself?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: That's... why I'm here.

[Lama Su and Taun We show Obi-Wan the growth and training of the clones]
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Very impressive.
Lama Su: I hoped you would be pleased. Clones can think creatively. You'll find that they are immensely superior to droids. We take great pride in our combat education and training programs. This group was created about five years ago.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You mentioned growth acceleration...
Lama Su: Oh yes, it's essential. Otherwise, a mature clone would take a lifetime to grow. Now, we can do it in half the time. Those items you saw on the parade ground were started almost ten years ago, when Sifo-Dyas first placed the order, and they're already mature. You'll find they are totally obedient, taking any order without question. We modified their genetic structure to make them less independent than the original host.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Who was the original host?
Lama Su: A bounty hunter named Jango Fett. We felt a Jedi would be the perfect choice, but Sifo-Dyas hand-picked Jango Fett himself.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Where is this bounty hunter now?
Lama Su: Oh, we keep him here. Apart from his pay - which is considerable - Fett demanded only one thing: an unaltered clone for himself. Curious, isn't it?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Unaltered?
Lama Su: Pure genetic replication. No tampering with the structure to make it more docile, and no growth acceleration.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I would very much like to meet this Jango Fett.
Taun We: I would be happy to arrange it for you.
[Several platoons of fully-grown, armoured clone soldiers are demonstrated]
Lama Su: Magnificent, aren't they?

Taun We: Boba, is your father here?
Boba Fett: Yep.
Taun We: May we see him?
Boba Fett: Sure. Dad! Taun We's here!
Taun We: Jango, welcome back. Was your trip productive?
Jango Fett: Fairly.
Taun We: This is Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He's come to check on our progress.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Your clones are very impressive. You must be very proud.
Jango Fett: I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Ever made your way as far into the interior as Coruscant?
Jango Fett: Once or twice.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Recently?
Jango Fett: Possibly.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Then you must know Master Sifo-Dyas.
Jango Fett: (commands Boba in different language) Master who?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Sifo-Dyas. Is he not the Jedi who hired you for this job?
Jango Fett: (approaches him) Never heard of him.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Really?!
Jango Fett: I was recruited by a man called Tyrannus on one of the moons of Bogden.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Curious.
Jango Fett: (changing the subject) Do you like your army?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I look forward to seeing them in action.
Jango Fett: They'll do their job well. I'll guarantee that.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Thank you for your time, Jango.
Jango Fett: Always a pleasure to meet a Jedi.

Anakin Skywalker: From the moment I met you, all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you.
Padme Amidala: I can't… We can't… It's not possible.
Anakin Skywalker: Anything is possible, Padme, listen to me.
Padme Amidala: No, you listen! We live in a real world, come back to it. You're studying to become a Jedi, I'm... I'm a senator. If you follow your thoughts through a conclusion, it will take us to a place we cannot go, regardless of the way we feel about each other.
Anakin Skywalker: Then you do feel something!
Padme Amidala: I will not let you give up your future for me.
Anakin Skywalker: You're asking me to be rational. That is something I know I cannot do. Believe me, I wish I could just wish away my feelings, but I can't.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: [on hologram] I have successfully made contact with the Prime Minister of Kamino. They are using a bounty hunter named Jango Fett to create a clone army. I have a strong feeling that this bounty hunter is the assassin we're looking for.
Mace Windu: Do you think these cloners are involved in the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: No, Master, there appears to be no motive.
Yoda: Do not assume anything, Obi-Wan. Clear your mind must be if you are to discover the real villains behind this plot.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Yes, Master. They say that Master Sifo-Dyas placed the order for a clone army at the request of the Senate, almost ten years ago. I was under the impression he was killed before that. Did the Council ever authorize the creation of a clone army?
Mace Windu: No. Whoever placed that order did not have the authorization of the Jedi Council.
Yoda: Into custody, take this Jango Fett. Bring him here. Question him, we will.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Yes, Master. I will report back when I have him. [hologram fades]
Yoda: Blind we are, if the creation of this clone army we could not see.
Mace Windu: I think it is time to inform the Senate that our ability to use the Force has diminished.
Yoda: Only a Dark Lord of the Sith knows of our weakness. If informed the Senate is, multiply our adversaries will.

Mace Windu: What is it?
Master Yoda: Pain, suffering, death I feel. Something terrible has happened. Young Skywalker is in pain. Terrible pain.

Padmé Amidala: You're not all-powerful, Ani.
Anakin Skywalker: Well, I should be! Someday I will be. I will be the most powerful Jedi ever. I promise you. I will even learn to stop people from dying! It's all Obi-Wan's fault! He's jealous! He's holding me back!
Padmé Amidala: What's wrong, Ani?
Anakin Skywalker: I... I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead. Every single one of them... and not just the men, but the women and the children too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals! I hate them!
Padme Amidala: To be angry is to be human.
Anakin Skywalker: I'm a Jedi. I know I'm better than this.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: * Anakin, my long-range transmitter has been knocked out. Retransmit this message to Coruscant. [To Palpatine] I have tracked the bounty hunter Jango Fett to the droid foundries in Geonosis.
Yoda: More happening on Geonosis, I fear, than has been revealed.
Mace Windu: I agree. Anakin, we will deal with Count Dooku; the most important thing for you is to stay where you are. Protect the Senator at all costs-that is your first priority.
Anakin Skywalker: Understood, Master.
Padmé Amidala: They'll never make it in time; they have to travel halfway across the galaxy. Look. Geonosis is less than a parsec away.
Anakin Skywalker: If he's still alive.
Padmé Amidala: You have to rescue him. He's your mentor, your friend...
Anakin Skywalker: He's like my father, but you heard Master Windu. He gave me strict orders to stay here.
Padmé Amidala: He gave you strict orders to protect me, and I'm going to save Obi-Wan. If you're going to protect me, you'll have to come along.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Traitor!
Count Dooku: Oh no, my friend. This is a mistake, a terrible mistake. They have gone too far, this is madness!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I thought you were the leader here, Dooku.
Count Dooku: This had nothing to do with me; I assure you. I will petition immediately to have you set free.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Well, I hope it doesn't take too long. I have work to do.
Count Dooku: May I ask why a Jedi Knight is all the way out here on Geonosis?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I'm tracking a bounty hunter named Jango Fett. Do you know him?
Count Dooku: There are no bounty hunters here that I'm aware of. The Geonosians don't trust them.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Well, who can blame them? But he is here, I assure you.
Count Dooku: It's a great pity our paths have never crossed before, Obi-Wan. Qui-Gon always spoke very highly of you. I wish he were still alive. I could use his help right now.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Qui-Gon Jinn would never join you.
Count Dooku: Don't be so sure, my young Jedi. You forget that he was once my apprentice, just as you were once his. He knew all about the corruptions of the Senate, but he would never have gone along with it if he had known the truth as I have.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The truth?
Count Dooku: The truth. What if I told you that the Republic is now under the control of a Dark Lord of the Sith?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: No, that's not possible! The Jedi would be aware it!
Count Dooku: The Dark Side of the Force has clouded their vision, my friend. Hundreds of senators are now under the influence of a Sith Lord called Darth Sidious.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I don't believe you.
Count Dooku: The Viceroy of the Trade Federation was once in league with this Darth Sidious, but he was betrayed ten years ago by the Dark Lord. He came to me for help; he told me everything. You must join me, Obi-Wan, and together we will destroy the Sith!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I will never join you, Dooku.
Count Dooku: It may be difficult to secure your release.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: I was beginning to wonder if you'd got my message.
Anakin Skywalker: I retransmitted it to Coruscant, just as you'd requested, Master. Then we decided to come and rescue you.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [looking up at his chains] Good job!

[Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padmé are approached in the Execution Arena by a Reek, an Acklay and a Nexu, respectively]
Anakin Skywalker: I have a bad feeling about this.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Just relax. Concentrate.
Anakin Skywalker: What about Padmé?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [looks up and sees her on top of her chained column] She seems to be on top of things.

[As Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padmé hold their own against the execution beasts]
Nute Gunray: This isn't how it's supposed to be! Jango, finish her off!
Count Dooku: [halting Jango] Patience, Viceroy, patience. She will die.
[Padmé and the others are surrounded by droidekas in the arena]

Count Dooku: Master Windu, how pleasant of you to join us.
Mace Windu: This party's over.
Count Dooku: Brave, but foolish, my old Jedi friend. You're impossibly outnumbered.
Mace Windu: I don't think so.
Count Dooku: We'll see.

Anakin Skywalker: You call this a diplomatic solution?
Padmé Amidala: No, I call it aggressive negotiations.

[After surrounding the Jedi, the army of Separatist droids and Geonosians suddenly rest their weapons]
Count Dooku: Master Windu! You have fought gallantly. Worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. Now... it is finished. Surrender, and your lives will be spared.
Mace Windu: We will not be hostages to be bartered, Dooku!
Count Dooku: Then... I'm sorry, old friend.
[The droids and Geonosians ready their weapons again]

Anakin Skywalker: Padmé! [to pilot] Put the ship down!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Anakin! Don't let your personal feelings get in the way! [to pilot] Follow that speeder.
Anakin Skywalker: [to pilot] Lower the ship!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I can't take Dooku alone! I need you! If we catch him, we can end this war right now! We have a job to do!
Anakin Skywalker: I don't care! [to pilot] Put the ship down!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: YOU WILL BE EXPELLED FROM THE JEDI ORDER!
Anakin Skywalker: I CAN'T LEAVE HER!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: COME TO YOUR SENSES! What do you think Padmé would do were she in your position?
Anakin Skywalker: [resigned] She would do her duty.

Anakin Skywalker: You're going to pay for all the Jedi that you killed today, Dooku.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: We'll take him together. You go in slowly on the left...
Anakin Skywalker: No, I'm taking him now!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: No, Anakin, NO!
[Dooku easily defeats Anakin, using Force Lightning]
Count Dooku: As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours. Now, back down.
[He uses Force Lightning on Kenobi, who absorbs it with his lightsaber]
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I don't think so.
[They both draw their lightsabers and duel; Dooku seems to have the upper hand]
Count Dooku: Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem. Surely you can do better!

Count Dooku: Brave of you, boy. But I would have thought you'd learned your lesson.
Anakin Skywalker: I am a slow learner.

Count Dooku: Master Yoda.
Master Yoda: Count Dooku.
Count Dooku: You have interfered with our affairs for the last time.
[As Dooku fails to kill Yoda using Force-thrown objects (due to Yoda deflecting them with equally-strong use of the Force)]
Master Yoda: Powerful you have become, Dooku. The Dark Side I sense in you.
Count Dooku: I have become more powerful than any Jedi. Even you.
[As Dooku emits Force lightning, Yoda absorbs it with his hand and deflects it back to Dooku who also deflects it away from him. He tries again, but Yoda absorbs the lightning again, this time extinguishing it.]
Master Yoda: Much to learn, you still have.
Count Dooku: It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force, but by our skills with a lightsaber.

Master Yoda: Fought well, you have... my old Padawan.
Count Dooku: This is just the beginning!

Count Dooku: The Force is with us, Master Sidious.
Darth Sidious: Welcome home, Lord Tyranus. You have done well.
Count Dooku: I have good news for you, my lord. The war has begun.
Darth Sidious: Excellent. [smiling] Everything is going as planned...

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Do you believe what Count Dooku said about Sidious controlling the Senate? It doesn't feel right.
Master Yoda: Joined the Dark Side, Dooku has. Lies, deceit, creating mistrust are his ways now.
Mace Windu: Nevertheless, I think we should keep a closer eye on the Senate.
Master Yoda: I agree.
Mace Windu: Where is your apprentice?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: On his way to Naboo, escorting Senator Amidala home. I must admit that without the clones, it would not have been victory.
Master Yoda: Victory? Victory you say? Master Obi-Wan, not victory. The shroud of the Dark Side has fallen. Begun the Clone War has!
